About Us

Welcome to CS HURD

Since CS HURD’s inception in 1999, we have been steadfast in our desire to be the best in the business by working harder than any other contractor and placing customer satisfaction as our #1 priority. It’s important to us to instill in our culture the grit necessary to get the job done right- the first time we do it. That attitude has advanced us from a small service truck operation to one of the largest competitive electrical contractors in the Southeast.

We are proud to be a Women-Owned Business Enterprise leading the charge in commercial and residential electrical contracting with the proven experience to bring any vision to reality- on schedule and within budget. We are insured, bondable, and are fully licensed in the states of Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. We welcome you to let our team of experts work with you on your next project.

Gratefully,
Melissa & Stanley Hurd

CORE VALUES

Our core values are more than the foundation to our company- they define us as team members and as a company. These core values are engrained in our fabric from our employees to our operations; we weave the values in each project and relationship we build.

Service Excellence

While each client is unique, standards of service excellence are universal. We set high standards, and then help our employees meet them. Our focus remains on providing the best service in the market- 110% of the time.

Professional Development

Lifelong learning is our goal. We prepare our people for the workplace and beyond by eliminating glass ceilings and boxed in skillsets. We see opportunity in developing our own employees from within in order to challenge and evolve their skills while meeting the market challenges of an aging workforce. We provide hands on training and higher education opportunities to help employees take the next steps in their careers. And partner with vocational schools to increase the standard of education.

Fiscal Responsibility

We are committed to the healthy, productive expansion and growth of our services. Attaining healthy profit requires the conscious and concerted effort of everyone at CS HURD. We educate and engage our entire staff on our commitment to fiscal responsibility. We spend according to our means. We want to make our profits work not only for the business itself but also for our employees and the communities we serve.

Inclusiveness

We believe in empowering our employees and understand that the most innovative company must also be the most diverse. We welcome ideas, listen, collaborate, respect individual input, and drive for continuous engagement. If your mind can imagine it, your head can create it.

Safety

We provide each employee with a safe and healthy workplace. Each employee is empowered with the responsibility to protect each other, our environment, and our communities. Our target is and always will be ZERO Accidents.

Community Investment

We believe in leaving a legacy of giving and service in each community we serve. We form collaborative relationships with local nonprofits or organizations that are making a deeper and more lasting impact. Our employees believe that when we donate our time, talent, and resources that it is equally as important as the financial contributions we give.
